Scaled benchmark reports are available for benchmarks that were taken online (from 2017 to present). They are assessment analytic reports that correspond to the PDF and XLS reports provided via ShareFile®. The scaled benchmark reports available are:

  • Scaled Benchmark Administration Reports for districts, schools, and classrooms (see samples below)
  • Scaled Item Analysis Reports for districts, schools, and classrooms (see samples below)

Note: These reports become available approximately 3-5 days after we receive notification that students have completed testing.


To access the Scaled Benchmark Reports:

  1. From the Reports menu at the main dashboard, choose Assessment Analytics. The Report Menu page appears. From the Report Menu page, follow the remaining steps below (and refer to the image that follows).
  2. Click on the Scaled Benchmark Reports tab. (Fields in red are required; other fields are optional filters.)
  3. Make selections from the School Year and Report drop-down menus. 
  4. Determine which type of report you want. (Note: The reports available to you depend on your user account permissions.)
    • For a District Report, set Group By to "District".
      Make a selection for District.
      Optional: Choose a Subject. 

    • For a School Report, set Group By to "School".
      Make a selection for District. 
      Optional: Choose a Subject or School. 

    • For a Class Report, set Group By to "Classroom".
      Make a selection for District.
      Optional: Choose a Subject or School followed by any or all of the remaining filters: Grade, Teacher, and Classroom.   
  5. Click Run Report. Results appear at the bottom of the page. 
  6. In the results area, locate the Subject/Teacher/Class in the left-hand column and click the corresponding "Benchmark Title" link in the right-hand column. The report appears. Refer to the next section for report samples.



Note: If you make any changes to the filters, click Run Report again. 


Controlling Teacher Access

A district administrator can control which reports teachers are able to access. If you are a district administrator, choose Permissions Admin from the top menu in the Analytic Reporting area. Select the check boxes to give teachers in your district access to classroom, school, and/or district reports.

  • (5) Student answer choices - Correct answers are shown in green. Incorrect answers are in shown in red. The answer Z means the student left the item blank. Technology-enhanced items show as Correct or Incorrect.


Tip for Teachers: If students are picking one particular incorrect answer choice, there may be some specific misunderstanding about the item.


Exporting Reports to Excel

Click this button on any report to export the information to an XLSX file:The default location of the file is wherever your browser saves downloads.

The default name of the file created is in one of these forms:


BenchmarkAdministration[Report Type]Report_[ID of District/School/Classroom].xlsx

or

ItemAnalysis[Report Type]Report_[ID of District/School/Classroom].xlsx


For example, a Scaled Benchmark Administration District Report for District ID 1022 would be:
